SMS & Text Messaging Terms
1. Program identification
These SMS Terms govern the text messaging service (\”SMS Program\”) operated by The Oncall Bot LLC (\”we,\” \”us\”) on behalf of subscribing dental practices (\”Practices\”) through our platform, PractCom Marketing Suite. The SMS Program is delivered through registered 10-digit long-code (10DLC) phone numbers via Twilio, Inc., under our registered A2P 10DLC brand and campaign.
2. Who receives these messages
You will receive text messages from PractCom only if one of the following is true:
- You are a PractCom account holder. You provided your mobile number when creating your account. We may send you service-related messages (account alerts, security notices, verification codes, receipts) and occasional product updates.
- You are a patient of a subscribing dental practice. The Practice added you to their patient roster inside PractCom in order to send you their monthly newsletter. You previously consented to receive marketing or informational communications from that Practice — typically at intake or by signing a HIPAA marketing authorization form.
We never text you unless one of the above is true. We do not purchase mobile phone lists.
3. Consent (opt-in)
For patient rosters, the sending dental Practice is responsible for having obtained your consent to receive marketing text messages before uploading your number to PractCom. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service from a Practice or from us. If you did not consent, reply STOP to any message and we will remove your number immediately.
4. Message frequency
Message frequency varies by program:
- Patient newsletter program — typically one message per month per Practice.
- Account & security messages — sent as needed (verification codes, password resets, billing alerts).
- Occasional service updates — no more than four per year from us directly.
5. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. The Oncall Bot LLC does not charge you for text messages, but standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier apply. Check with your carrier for details of your plan.
6. Opt-out — reply STOP
You may cancel the SMS Program at any time. To stop receiving messages, reply with any of the following keywords to any message you receive from us:
STOP · STOPALL · UNSUBSCRIBE · CANCEL · END · QUIT
After you send one of these keywords you will receive a one-time confirmation message and will not receive further messages from that program. If you subscribe to more than one program you will need to reply STOP to a message from each program. Sample confirmation:
7. Help — reply HELP
Reply HELP or INFO to any message for assistance. You’ll receive a reply with our contact information. You may also contact us directly at support@practcom.com. Sample help reply:
8. Sample messages
Below are typical examples of the messages you may receive from the SMS Program. Actual message content is authored by the sending Practice and will include their name.
9. Supported carriers
The SMS Program is available on the following U.S. wireless carriers and their affiliates: AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Sprint (T-Mobile), Boost Mobile, Cricket, Metro by T-Mobile, C-Spire, and most MVNOs. Delivery is subject to your carrier’s transmission and coverage; we are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or messages routed as MMS by your carrier. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
10. Privacy
Your mobile phone number and message content are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share, sell, rent, or lease mobile phone numbers or opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Phone numbers are used solely to deliver the messages of the specific program you opted in to.
11. Age restriction
The SMS Program is intended for individuals aged 18 and older. If you are under 18, do not subscribe.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through a text message or email to the address on file, and the \”Last updated\” date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued participation in the SMS Program after an update means you accept the updated terms.
